Built for school environments

Safe writing practice for classrooms

No open-ended AI chat. No social features. Students write their own responses to prompts, and all AI scores are reviewed by a teacher before reaching the student.

Teacher moderation built in

Every AI-generated report enters a moderation queue. Teachers review, adjust, and approve scores before they are delivered. AI assists — it does not replace teacher judgement.

Rubric-aligned to NAPLAN criteria

Scores are structured around the same criteria NAPLAN markers use — audience, text structure, ideas, vocabulary, cohesion, paragraphing, sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling.

Progress tracking across the class

Class-level dashboards show every student's submissions and scores, making it easy to identify students who need additional support.

Privacy-first design

Student data is held in Sydney. Writing is never used to train AI models. Direct identifiers are removed before AI processing. Compatible with school privacy obligations.

Pilot programme available

We offer structured pilots for interested schools, including onboarding support, teacher training, and a reporting pack at the end of the pilot period.

Designed for learning, not shortcuts.

WriteWise Coach does not generate full essays for students to submit. It gives rubric-based feedback, evidence from the student’s own writing, and one specific revision task per draft. Students improve their own writing — the AI helps them understand how.

Frequently asked questions

Is WriteWise Coach appropriate for primary school use?
Yes. The platform is designed for Years 3–9. There is no open-ended AI conversation, no social features, and no advertising. Student writing is processed under strict data handling rules.
Does the AI write essays for students?
No. Students write their own responses. WriteWise Coach gives feedback, rubric scores, and revision prompts. It does not generate full essays for students to submit. This is by design.
Can teachers override AI scores?
Yes. Every AI score enters a moderation queue. Teachers review each criterion, adjust scores if needed, and approve the report before it reaches the student. The teacher has final say.
How does student data privacy work?
Student writing is processed to generate feedback and then stored in your school's account. Data is hosted in Sydney (AWS ap-southeast-2). Writing is never used to train AI models or shared with third parties beyond the AI processing call. Schools can request data deletion.
What does a pilot programme include?
A typical pilot includes onboarding for teachers, access for a defined cohort of students, teacher training on the moderation workflow, and a reporting pack at the end of the pilot period. Contact us to discuss requirements.
